Dubai 2015: Boeing eyes three-figure P-8 market
Boeing expects an export market for around 100 maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) over the next ten years, while the US Navy will begin basing ‘at least two’ Poseidon P-8’s out of Bahrain by April 2016.
The announcements were made as the company continues with its existing programme to the US Navy, in addition to export deals with India and Australia.
Next year will see the first of the second increment aircraft delivered to the US Navy, part of a total of 109 expected to be brought into service. The eighth P-8I was recently delivered to the Indian Navy, while
