Austal receives order for LCS design services
Austal has received a $16.3 million order from the US Department of Defense for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) design services, the company announced on 26 June.
Under the contract, Austal will provide class design products including technical analyses, engineering, configuration management, software maintenance and development, production assessment, diminishing manufacturing sources and sea-frame reliability analysis. The company will also provide integrated data and product model environment support.
The work on this contract will be complete by June 2019.
