Wizz Air opens new routes to Liverpool and Oslo Torp from Prague
Wizz Air, the largest low cost low fare airline in Central and Eastern Europe announced today that it would launch two new routes from the Czech capital.
Flights from Prague to Liverpool John Lennon airport will be launched on 11 July and operated three times a week, while as flights to Oslo Torp will start on 12 July and operated four times a week.
The new services will complement the already announced routes operated from the Ruzyne Airport to 11 in total.
As it was announced just three weeks ago, the company would establish its 11th base in Prague with initially 2 brand new Airbus A320 aircraft in summer 2009.
Currently Wizz Air flies from Prague to London Luton, Rome Fiumicino, Milan Bergamo and Brussels Charleroi. The carrier will launch new flights as well as increase frequencies on some of the existing routes concurrently with the arrival of its first and second aircraft.
