Wizz Air is to move its flights from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport to Forli Airport. Currently the airline offers flights to Bologna from Katowice, Warsaw and Cluj. The effective move of the flights will take place on 29 March 2009.

Wizz Air says the move will help it to achieve better cost and operational efficiency within its low-cost business model as well as offering travellers from Poland and Romania better access to the Adriatic sea resorts around Rimini.

The first route to switch will be the Katowice service on 30 March, followed by Warsaw on 1 April. Flights to Cluj will move across on 13 June.
