Wizz Air adds routes to Italy and offers aid to MyAir passengers
Wizz Air is to launch two new routes from Bucharest in reaction to the changing competitive landscape with the suspension of services by MyAir.
Wizz Air will offer flights to Catania and Bologna Forli from 21 September and 28 October respectively. The flights will initially be operated twice a week.
Wizz Air offers 12 Italian routes from its three Romanian bases. Former Myair passengers who wish to travel to Milan Bergamo can rebook on Wizz Air flights on the same route. Those who were travelling to Venice can take Wizz Air to Venice Treviso and passengers to Rimini can choose to fly to Bologna Forli.
Wizz Air routes from Romania to Italy operate from Bucharest to Rome Ciampino, Milan Bergamo, Venice Treviso and the two new services to Bologna Forli and Catania; from Cluj to Bologna Forli, Milan Bergamo, Rome Fiumicino and Venice Treviso; and from Timisoara to Milan Bergamo, Rome Fiumicino and Venice Treviso.
