Vueling Airlines carried a total of 356,930 passengers in November, 28% down on the same month in 2007. The airline’s average load factor grew by 1.7 percentage points in relation to the same period last year, from 63.6% to 65.3%. Traffic (RPKs) was down by 31.0% while capacity (ASKs) went up 32.8%.

Vueling operated seven fewer aircraft than in November last year, which translated into a 30% reduction in flights.

Vueling says that, by carrying higher-yielding passengers, operating a smaller number of flights during the quarter and reducing its cost base, it will achieve a significant improvement in Q4 results, in line with those delivered in Q3 2008.
