HAL is major beneficiary of latest Indian procurement approvals
India has approved millions of dollars in new military purchases, most of which will go to public sector companies.
VLM to launch LCY-Eindhoven service
VLM Airlines will introduce non-stop service from London City Airport to Eindhoven on 12 January 2009. The airline will operate twice every weekday and once every Sunday, with flights at the beginning and end of every day timed to suit business and leisure travellers. The service to Eindhoven is the airline’s fifth Dutch route and complements its frequent services to both Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
VLM will use Fokker 50 turboprops on the 75-minute flights. The service offers a day-return option for business passengers travelling to Eindhoven, allowing them to have a complete working day and save on hotel costs.
