US Airways reports November traffic for Express subsidiaries
US Airways has reported November 2009 traffic figures for its two wholly-owned subsidiaries which operate under the brand – Piedmont Airlines and PSA Airlines.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for the pair totalled 165,930,000, a 3.9% increase over last November’s 159,626,000. Available seat miles (ASMs) numbered 243,435,000, down 3.8% compared with 253,148,000 in November 2008.
The resulting load factor was 68.2%, a 5.1 percentage point increase over last November’s 63.1%. The two airlines carried 630,901 passengers in November compared with 591,834 in the same period last year, a 6.6% increase.
