Tiger Airways has received approval from authorities to start daily services to Langkawi and up to three services a day to Panang from Singapore. The announcement means Tiger will now serve over 34 destinations across the region, seven of which have begun this year.

Tiger, which will announce the flight schedule to Langkawi and Penang in the near future, congratulated the governments of Singapore and Malaysia in progressing liberalisation for the benefit of the tourism industry and the economy as a whole.
