Tiger Airways’ first Airbus A319 has arrived at the airline's Singapore base straight from delivery at the manufacturer's Hamburg factory.
Rosalynn Tay, managing director of Tiger Airways Singapore remarked, “I am so excited about growing our fleet. This is the perfect aircraft for route development and ensures that the airline is in the right position to exploit new opportunities as they are presented.”
The A319 has been successfully operated with low-fare airlines across the world with significant fleets in service with airlines such as easyJet in Europe and Spirit in the USA.
