Sabena technics has signed a five-year contract with Luxair to perform component support services on the latter's Boeing 737 fleet, comprising three 737-700s and one 737-500.

The deal marks a partnership of more than 30 years of 737 MRO services between the provider and the carrier.

Under this agreement, Sabena technics will perform component repair and overhaul services, including pool access and consignment stock located in Luxembourg. The services will be carried out on Luxair’s 737-700s which the company uses for its LuxairTours operations, occasionally using them to support the scheduled airline.

This agreement is a renewal and extension of the existing contract signed between Luxair and Sabena technics in December 2003.

Sabena technics is also performing C-checks on these aircraft, including the painting of a new livery on the aircraft during the winter period.
