Ryanair has released its passenger and load factor statistics for February 2009 which include a 7% growth in the passengers carried compared with February 2008. This year the airline carried 4.13 million passengers during February against 3.84 million in the same period last year.
The passenger load factor in February 2009 was 78%, an increase of 3 percentage points over last February.
In the 12 month period to the end of February 2009, Ryanair carried 58.4 million passengers with an average load factor of 82%.
