P&WC awards Altenrhein Aviation RMF status
Pratt & Whitney Canada Customer Service Centre Europe, a joint-venture between Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) and MTU Aero Engines, has appointed Altenrhein Aviation as a Recognized Maintenance Facility (RMF) to provide maintenance support for PT6A, JT15D and PW300 series engines.
"This agreement with Altenrhein Aviation Ltd underscores the growing presence of our Recognized Maintenance Facilities in Europe and elsewhere in the world," said Geoffrey Corbeil, general manager of P&WC CSC Europe. "This initiative complements P&WC's support structure in Europe, namely our parts distribution centre located in Amsterdam and the Mobile Repair Team rapid dispatch.
Altenrhein Aviation, located at St.Gallen-Altenrhein Airport, Switzerland, is an EASA Part-145 aircraft maintenance facility, supporting a wide range of general aviation, business and regional aircraft.
