PARIS 2009: Messier-Dowty and LAMC propose landing gear system for the C919

Pascal Sénéchal, chairman & CEO, Messier-Dowty, representing also Messier-Bugatti (both SAFRAN Group companies), and Xu Jun, president of LAMC (Landing Gear Advanced Manufacturing Corp), representing also Xian Aviation Brake Technology and First Aircraft Institute, have signed a Letter Of Intent preparing a co-operation between these companies for the Chinese single aisle COMAC C919 programme.

This agreement covers the complete landing gear system for the future aircraft, which entails the gear structure, wheels and brakes, braking and landing systems. The parties have thus committed to an exclusive partnership and joint response to COMAC’s upcoming request for proposal.
