Norair Belluyan, general director of Armavia, and Jean-Paul Ebanga, chairman and CEO of PowerJet, have signed an agreement for PowerJet to support the SaM146 propulsion system powering the airline’s Sukhoi Superjet 100s.
“We are extremely pleased to sign the first SaM146 support contract with Armavia, reflecting PowerJet's full-fledged commitment to offering world-class support services to airlines around the world,” remarked Ebanga.
As the single point of contact for the entire propulsion system, PowerJet has set up a complete support organisation to meet airline requirements, including a customer support management team, customer support centre (24/7), training and flight operations support.
