Norwegian will open new services from Oslo to Dublin and Vienna and from Copenhagen to Vienna, Dublin, Rome and Warsaw from the 17th of August.

Despite the difficulties in the world economy, we are experiencing growth in the number of our Customers. Travellers have become even more price conscious and Norwegian is benefiting from this trend by being able to attract new passengers with low fares.

For this reason, we introduce six new routes to cities in Europe from Copenhagen and Oslo. We see the challenging times for the airline industry as an opportunity and will continue to look for good opportunities, says Daniel Skjeldam, Chief Commercial Officer of Norwegian.

"We have experienced a warm welcome in Denmark, and the routes from Copenhagen to Dublin, Rome, Warsaw and Vienna will increase our total network from Denmark to 27 routes," said Skjeldam.

The new routes are as follows, beginning the week of August 17th 2009:

Copenhagen-Rome - 3x weekly
Copenhagen-Dublin - 3x weekly
Copenhagen-Vienna - 3x weekly
Copenhagen-Warsaw - 6x weekly

Oslo-Dublin - 3x weekly
Oslo-Vienna - 3x weekly
