Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation has announced that Hideo Egawa, currently director and senior executive vice-president, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, is to succeed Nobuo Toda as president of Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation from 1 April 2009.
Egawa is to be officially appointed to the board of directors of Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation at an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting. Outgoing president Toda will be appointed to the post of vice-chairman.
Both appointments will be finalised at a board meeting to be held on 1 April.
