HAL is major beneficiary of latest Indian procurement approvals
India has approved millions of dollars in new military purchases, most of which will go to public sector companies.
Italian low-fare carrier MyAir has been forced to call a halt to its services following the decision by the Italian aviation authority ENAC, to revoke its licence due to the carrier's financial situation.
The company was asked in June to provide ENAC with details of a planned recapitalisation. This was not forthcoming. Nor was ENAC satisfied that current cash flows would cover the costs of essential services
The notice on the front page of the airline's website reads: "As from latest revocation measure of flying permission taken by ENAC towards MyAir.com, the company is unfortunately urged to suspend sales of its services."
MyAir operates a fleet of Airbus A320s and Bombardier CRJ900s. It was also one of the first to order the CRJ1000.
