CAE has broadened its portfolio of e-Learning training services and signed West Air Sweden and MyAir as new customers.

The Swedish cargo operator has turned to CAE to provide online recurrent training for all pilots operating its fleet of CRJ200PFs, while Italian low-fare airlne MyAir has signed a three-year contract to use CAE's CRJ700 initial training courseware as part of its initial type-rating. The online course will help increase efficiency as pilots can prepare for their simulator sessions at before arriving in the training centre.

CAE's e-Learning and courseware training solutions provide enhanced self-paced courses and practice tools for initial/transition, recurrent, refresher pilot and maintenance training. They can be integrated into existing airline training programmes or offered as part of CAE's advanced training programmes, which are designed to maximise customer value by reducing training costs and providing more efficient usage of higher end training devices.

CAE has recently made available new e-Learning maintenance courses including reduced vertical separation minima (RVSM), human factors, and engine run and taxi on 737NGs.
