Frontier Airlines will begin twice-daily nonstop service to Tulsa International Airport (TUL) from its hub at Denver International Airport (DEN) on 2 August. Frontier's wholly-owned subsidiary Lynx Aviation will provide service for the route with Bombardier Q400s. This is the first new city added to the Frontier network in 2009.

"We are happy to be back in Tulsa," commented Lynx president, Cameron Kenyon. "We look forward to reintroducing our affordable fares, the choice and added value that comes with our AirFairs product and the great customer service for which both Lynx and Frontier employees are known."

Frontier Airlines originally began service to Tulsa in May 2005 before leaving as part of a network-wide capacity reduction in 2008.
