JetBlue Airways has reported that its traffic in July increased by 0.3% from July 2008, on a capacity increase of 0.9%.
The figures behind those increases show revenue passenger miles (RPMs) reached 2,545,189,000 compared with 2,537,489,000 in July 2008, the 0.3 % rise. Available seat miles numbered 2,957,566,000 which, as mentioned, was 0.9% up on last July's figure of 2,931,615,000.
Load factor for July 2009 was 86.1%, a decrease of 0.5 percentage points from July 2008's 86.6%. Revenue passengers carried rose by 4.0% to 2,188,446 from 2,103,720.
