JetBlue Airways plans to begin year-round service from Boston Logan to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from 19 June. The service is subject to government approval.

JetBlue will initially offer nonstop flights on the route three days a week (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) with plans to expand to daily service over the peak winter season. The new link complements JetBlue's existing connecting service available daily between Boston and the Dominican cities of Puerto Plata, Santiago, and Santo Domingo.

Flight will leave Boston at 12:35 and arrive in Santo Domingo at 16:28, with the return service scheduled to depart at 17:30 to reach Boston at 21:30.

"JetBlue is proud to continue investing in Boston with new service to Santo Domingo, our 31st destination from Logan," said Scott Laurence, JetBlue's vice-president of network planning. The carrier will operate the service with 150-seat Airbus A320s.
