JetBlue begins Orlando?San Jose, Costa Rica service

JetBlue Airways has inauguarated Orlando's only daily nonstop service to San Jose, Costa Rica (SJO), the carrier's first Central American destination and ninth country in its route network. Costa Ricans travelling through Orlando will also have seamless one-stop connections to New York's John F. Kennedy as well as Newark, New Jersey and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

"JetBlue is committed to furthering our growth in Latin America," said JetBlue's chief executive officer Dave Barger, launching the service at SJO. "Central Floridians continue to give JetBlue reasons to add more destinations, more direct flights and more value when they travel to new international cities like Bogota, Nassau and San Jose."

JetBlue is operating the Orlando–Costa Rica service with 100-seat Embraer 190s.
