JetBlue Airways has reported that its traffic (RPMs) in November decreased by 7.8% from November 2007, on a capacity decrease of 6.3%. Revenue passengers carried numbered 1,660,169, down 4.5% from last November's figure of 1,738,522. The load factor for November 2008 was 75.7%, a decrease of 1.3 points from November 2007. The preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month increased by 5% year-over-year.
For the calendar year to date, JetBlue has carried 20,078,681 passengers, a 2.6% increase of the Jan-Nov 2007 figure of 19,572,480.
