SkyVantage, a new airline software solutions provider, has announced a first-time agreement with start-up carrier Jamaica Air Shuttle to provide the carrier with a complete reservation and airline management system.
SkyVantage's end-to-end hosting solution for Jamaica Air Shuttle features capacity management,reservations management, pricing and ticketing, airport check-in, support systems, aircraft management, flight operations and command systems, management data, and eCommerce.
"Winning Jamaica Air Shuttle's hosting business came with significant competition, which is testament not only to the superiority of the SkyVantage technology but also the progressive spirit of Jamaica Air Shuttle and its management team," stated Cory Robin, President and CEO for SkyVantage. "We are delighted to be selected as Jamaica Air Shuttle's technology partner.

The airline's reservations and other systems are expected to be active in the SkyVantage Data Center by 14 June 2009.
In addition to Jamaica Air Shuttle, SkyVantage provides hosting and related services for 14 other airlines and one ground tour operator at its global data centre in Salt Lake City.
SkyVantage Airline Management System (SVAMS) is a complete airline reservations and management system that utilises real-time, pure-internet architectures. It allows airlines to connect people directly to business processes, eliminating intermediaries, inside and outside the airline. The company says it creates unprecedented efficiency and lowers costs.
