Horizon Air's May 2009 traffic reported

Horizon Air reported a decrease in load factor to 71.7% in May 2009, compared to 73.6% in May 2008, on a 12.9% decline in capacity compared to the prior-year period.

The airline achieved 199 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs), down 15.1% from last May's 234 million. Capacity, in available seat miles, was cut by the aforementioned 12.9% from 318 million in May 2008 to 277 million in May this year.

The total revenue passengers carried in May 2009 was 555,000, a decrease of 14.2% on the 647,000 carried in the same month last year.

Horizon reported that 87.8% of its flights arrived on time in May 2009, a 0.3 percentage point decrease compared with the 88.1% reported in May 2008.
