Horizon Air reported an increase in load factor to 80.6% in July 2009, compared to 77.3% in July 2008.
This was based on a 12.0% decline in capacity to 296 million available seat miles (ASMs) compared with 336 million in the prior-year period. Revenue passenger miles generated fell by 8.3% to 238 million from 260 million in July 2008.
Revenue passengers carried totalled 637,000, a 9.6% decrease compared with July 2008's 705,000.
Horizon reported that 88.3% of its flights arrived on time in July 2009, a 2.0 percentage point increase compared to the 86.3% recorded in July 2008.
