Gulfstream International Airlines has announced new service, beginning on 5 April, linking Orlando, FL with the state capitol in Tallahassee. The three weekday non-stop flights each way, plus one each way on Sundays, will be operated under Gulfstream's "Continental Connection" affiliation with Continental Airlines.

Under this arrangement, Gulfstream coordinates pricing and schedules with Continental Airlines. Gulfstream passengers enjoy a seamless travel experience as through ticketing and baggage transfer is offered. Gulfstream passengers may participate in the Continental OnePass frequent flyer programme and may book their flights and select their seats via Continental's website.

"As a Florida based company, Gulfstream is delighted to restore non-stop air service between Orlando and Tallahassee," said David Hackett, Gulfstream's president of CEO. "These new Orlando flights will supplement our existing flights linking Tallahassee with Ft Lauderdale, Tampa and West Palm Beach. This new service will create additional Florida jobs with 10 or more positions being added in Tallahassee. We firmly believe that both communities will benefit from our convenient and reliable service."
