GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes released preliminary passenger statistics for November 2008 covering its two brands, GOL and Varig. Consolidated domestic passenger traffic (RPK) for November 2008 decreased 10.1% and capacity (ASK) increased 6.7% compared with November 2007. Domestic load factor for the month was 58.2%, down 10.8 percentage points (pp) on November 2007.
International traffic (RPK) was down 32.3% against a capacity (ASK) fall of 26.3%, resulting in an international load factor of 49.0%. a drop of 4.3 pp.
GOL’s total system load factor for the month of November was 56.8%, down 9.0 pp. Total system capacity fell by 0.2%, while the system traffic (ASK) fell by 13.8%
