Full support for FAA safety initiatives from RAA
The Regional Airline Association (RAA) has announced its support for the call from the FAA to review flight and rest rules and strengthen safety across the airline industry. The Association and its members previously announced a Strategic Safety Initiative that will dovetail with that effort.
“The RAA’s goals mirror those of the FAA,” observed its president Roger Cohen. “The safety of the nation’s skies is a shared responsibility, and RAA’s Strategic Safety Initiative falls right in line with what the FAA wants to accomplish. We look forward to working with the FAA, our mainline partners and our employees in this number one priority effort.”
