Former Condor MD to join Air Berlin
Christoph Debus will be joining the board of executive directors of Air Berlin on 1 June 2009. He will take over responsibility for sales, network and IT.
Previously Debus had been managing director at Condor, where he was responsible for IT, controlling, personnel, bookkeeping, accounting and finance for four years. His position at Condor also meant that he was a member of the airline executive board of Thomas Cook Group.
From March 1998 to the end of 2004 Debus was employed by Roland Berger Management Consultants. As a partner at Roland Berger, his remit included industry, aviation and tourism, as well as the car industry. Debus studied industrial engineering at TU Darmstadt and the Ecole Centrale de Lyon.
