Finnair to revise Scheduled Traffic organisation
On the retirement of Finnair's Deputy CEO and EVP Scheduled Traffic Henrik Arle on 31 December 2008, the company's Scheduled Traffic organisation will be revised.
Finnair's President & CEO Jukka Hienonen will lead the Scheduled Passenger Traffic organisation together with the business unit's revised management group. In addition to Hienonen, the management group of Scheduled Passenger Traffic will comprise Finnair Group CFO Lasse Heinonen, VP Production Management Ville Iho, VP Cabin Operations Kati Lehesmaa, SVP Commercial Division Mika Perho and SVP Flight Operations Division Veikko Sievänen. The personnel representatives in the management group will be Markku Remes and Timo Willberg. Scheduled Traffic's Business Controller Ari Lehmonen will serve as secretary to the management group.
Veikko Sievänen will also serve as the Accountable Manager referred to in the Airline Operators Certificate (AOC). From the beginning of 2009, Sievänen will also be a member of the Group's executive board.
Operational risk management, which was previously under the authority of Henrik Arle, will now be under the President & CEO. VP Juha Gröhn will be responsible for Finnair's operational risk management.
Managing Directors Antero Lahtinen and Colin Molloy of Finnair Cargo Oy and Finnair Aircraft Finance respectively, which belong to the Scheduled Traffic business area, as well as Ari Lehmonen, who is responsible for the business area's finances, will report to CFO Lasse Heinonen, while Tomi Laitainen, who is responsible for personnel matters, will report to SVP Human Resources Anssi Komulainen.
