Embraer delivers 32 commercial aircraft in 1Q09

Embraer reports that it delivered 32 aircraft to the commercial aviation segment during the first quarter of 2009 (1Q09). On 31 March 2009, the company’s firm order backlog totalled $19.7 billion.

The 32 deliveries in the commercial aviation segment comprised one ERJ 145, five E-170s, three E-175s, 17 E-190s and six E-195s. Among the last of these was the first E-195 delivered to Air Dolomiti. Also receiving its first E-Jet in 1Q09 was Japan’s Fuji Dream Airlines, which took delivery of an E-170.

At 31 March 2009, Embraer’s commercial aviation orderbook consisted of 915 firm ERJ 145 family orders with 50 options, of which 876 have been delivered leaving a backlog of 39, plus 875 firm E-Jet orders with 792 options. Of the E-Jet orders, 521 have been delivered, leaving a backlog of 354.
