easyJet is changing the way in which it releases its seats for the coming seasons, making it possible to book earlier than ever before.

The airline has released its schedules for Spring 2010 from its bases across the UK (with the exception of London and Scotland, which go on sale within the next few weeks), making it possible to book flights now from Belfast, Bristol, East Midlands, Liverpool and Newcastle up to the end of June 2010. The seats for Summer 2010 are expected to go on sale next month.

Previously the airline launched its schedules in two six month blocks, as winter and summer timetables. The new process will enable passengers to plan ahead better and to take advantage of the carrier's lowest fares.

“easyJet is now releasing its seats for Spring/Summer 2010 earlier than ever to give our customers the opportunity to plan ahead and get the best deals online for flights," confirmed Carly Brear, easyJet’s UK commercial manager.
