easyJet passenger figures for January 2009
easyJet has reported year-on-year increases in passengers carried and load factor for January 2009.
During January the airline carried 2,839,617 passengers, a 2.8% increase on January 2008’s figure of 2,761,583. The load factor for the month was 75.7%, up 3.7 percentage points over January last year.
For the 12-month rolling period to the end of January 2009, passengers carried rose by 16.2% to 44,661,510 (load factor 84.9%) compared with 38,422,844 (load factor 82.1%) for the rolling 12 months to the end of January 2008
