easyJet has announced that it carried 3,111,388 passengers in December 2008, an increase of 7.3% over the December 2007 figure of 2,899,349. The load factor for the respective months increased 3.3 percentage points (pp) from 78.9% in 2007 to 82.3% in 2008.
For the complete 2008 calendar year, passengers carried numbered 44,583,476, up 16.6% from 38,234,700 in 2007. The load factor for 2008 increased by 1.2% over 2007, from 83.5% to 84.6%.
