easyJet has reported passenger and load factor data for July 2009 and for the 12-month period ending 31 July 2009.
In July the airline carrier 4,661,068 passengers, an increase of 4.3% on July 2008's figure of 4,467,268. The load factor for the month rose by 1 percentage point (pp) to 90.3% from 89.3% in July 2008.
For the rolling 12 months ending 31 July 2009, the airline carried 44,725,304 passengers, a 4.6% rise compared with the 12-month period ending 31 July 2008 during which 42,020,751 passengers flew with the carrier. The load factors for the respective periods were 85.3% and 83.5%, the recent period therefore exhibiting an increase of 1.8 pp.
