easyJet has announced that it is increasing the number of flights from London Gatwick this summer to six destinations – Split, Dalaman, Bodrum, Mykonos, Montpellier and Toulouse.

The expansion will see one more aircraft based at Gatwick, bringing the total number of aircraft based there to 39.

The increases see services to Bodrum increase from 3 flights a week to 4; to Dalaman from 5 to 7; to Split from 9 to 11; to Mykonos from 3 to 4; to Montpellier from 7 to 8; and to Toulouse from 14 to 19 flights a week.

Paul Simmons, easyJet’s UK regional general manager, commented, "easyJet has grown dramatically at Gatwick over the last few years and [is] our biggest single airport base. Given the range of services we offer, [this] announcement will strengthen further our position at Gatwick."
