DVB Aviation Asset Management has been appointed to market five new Embraer 190-100LRs on behalf of the aircraft owners. These 100-seat aircraft are due for delivery during 2009 and are being offered to the market by DVB for sale or lease.
The Embraer 190 aircraft is the most popular variant of the successful Embraer E-Jet series and the aircraft marketed by DVB will be equipped with 100 passenger seats and CF34-10E5A1 engines.
“This is an important mandate for DVB to be awarded and it is a further endorsement of DVB Aviation’s approach to its business," exaplined Jon Skirrow, managing director of DVB Aviation Asset Management. "Since its addition to the DVB platform two years ago Aviation Asset Management has successfully remarketed more than 50 aircraft ranging in size from 50 seat regional jets to Boeing 747-400 passenger and cargo aircraft. In addition we now have over 40 aircraft under lease management contracts.
"These E-190 aircraft offer airlines the ability to adapt to the changing airline environment by employing the correct size of modern, low-cost, fuel-efficient aircraft best suited to market requirements. Having early availability will be a benefit to those airlines looking to seize the opportunity and take action sooner rather than later.”
