Pinnacle Airlines Corporation has released capacity and operational results for its Colgan Air subsidiary for July 2009.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) were up 7.2% to 64,357,000 from 60,019,000 in July 2008, while available seat miles (ASMs) fell by 10.1% to 99,270,000 from 110,446,000. This brought about a 10.5 percentage point increase in the load factor from 54.3% in July 2008 to 64.8% in July 2009.
The airline carried 272,269 passengers during July 2009, a 4.8% increase over July 2008's figure of 259,687.
Block hours flown totalled 12,469, 17.8% down on last July's 15,172. Departures fell by 16.4% to 10,034 from 12,000 for the respective periods.
