Bombardier Aerospace has awarded a five-year LRU service contract to Aerosource covering the repair and overhaul of the air driven generator (part number 756652A), used on the worldwide fleet of Challenger and CRJ aircraft.

Aerosource is an independently-owned and operated aviation component maintenance facility, founded in 1987. The company has been providing repair and overhaul services for ram air turbines and air driven generators manufactured by commercial OEMs since 2000.

Through an acquisition in 2006, Aerosource became the OEM for the DC-10 and MD-11 air driven generator, and various other components (inclusive of ram air turbines) with both military and commercial application.
