bmibaby will launch a summer service to Menorca from East Midlands Airport that will operate from 22 May to 24 October 2009 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The carrier notes that it is the only low-fare airline to fly this route from East Midlands and expects to carry over 19,500 passengers over the 2009 summer months.
