Blue Air sign GSA agreement with Aviareps
Romanian low-fare airline Blue Air is now represented by Aviareps in Germany and the United Kingdom. With immediate effect, the airline and tourism management specialist will undertake all marketing, sales and ticketing activities for the airline in these online markets.
“In co-operation with Aviareps, we aim to become the premier airline to Romania,” says Gheorghe Rācaru, general manager at Blue Air.
“The prevailing price consciousness among Germans and Britons alike is a positive precondition to making a destination as diverse and favourably priced as Romania known on these markets. I am absolutely sure that our tailor-made operations will pay off very soon for Blue Air,” adds Edgar Lacker, vice-president passenger sales at Aviareps.
Passengers flying from the UK have flights available from London Stansted to Bucharest departing on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Starting from 1 June, Blue Air will expand its operation within the UK market by launching London Luton–Bacau route operating twice a week. This adds to the existing portfolio of flights to more than 20 major cities in Europe.
All flights are operated with Boeing 737s in a one-class configuration with a capacity of 144 to 189 passengers.
