Romanian low-fare carrier Blue Air is to operate flights to Bacau, Romania from London Luton Airport as part of its new winter schedule.

Resulting from the success of the current services whichbegan on 1 June 2009, the airline will further expand the London Luton Airport schedule into Romania with twice weekly services to/from Bacau Airport.

Bacau is known as one of the most beautiful cities in Romania, situated at the heart of the historical region of Moldavia, at the foothills of the Carpathians.

Simon Harley, airline manager, London Luton Airport, remarked, "We are delighted with the success of the Bacau service and to see winter flights now on sale with Blue Air. Low-fare flying continues to make business and leisure travel increasingly accessible to millions of Europeans and the continuation of this now year-round service to Bacau provides yet more choice for our passengers."
