Allegiant Air has reported its preliminary scheduled passenger traffic results for February 2009.
Revenue passenger miles increased by 9.8% from 301,189,000 in February 2008 to 330,856,000 this year. Capacity rose over the respective periods by 5.2% from 348,678,000 available seat miles to 366,670,000. The resulting load factor for February 2009 was 90.2%, up 3.8 percentage points from last February's 86.4%.
The total passengers carried numbered 361,778, compare with 326,159 last year, a 10.9% increase.
