Airbus enhances Belgian communications with satellite technology
The Belgian Ministry of Defence has contracted Airbus to provide satellite communications services for 15 years.
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT(LAS VEGAS, NV) - Low-cost airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, today announced it will move its flight operations to Oakland International Airport from San Francisco International Airport beginning Feb. 2, 2009. The low-fare carrier began the only nonstop flights from Bellingham, Wash. to the Bay Area June 6, 2008.
The route will continue to operate twice weekly between Bellingham International Airport and Oakland International Airport, with service Monday and Friday. Flights will depart Bellingham at 2:10 p.m. arriving in Oakland at 4:20 p.m. Flights leaving Oakland will depart at 5 p.m. arriving in Bellingham at 7 p.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route.
