AirTran Airways is aiming to make it faster for travellers to buy tickets online by offering PayPal Express Checkout. This process uses the information on file in a member's PayPal account to speed through checkout and bypass the need to enter passenger contact information and financial details.
"Booking travel online continues to grow in popularity among our customers," said Tad Hutcheson, AirTran's vice-president of marketing and sales. "Having implemented PayPal last year, we know our customers like the security and convenience of PayPal and we are excited to give them a faster, easier way to pay with PayPal on airtran.com."
