AirTran begins Branson, MO, services

AirTran Airways has begun daily nonstop flights from Branson, Missouri, to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.

"AirTran Airways makes flying to the Branson area easy and affordable," said John Kirby, senior director of strategic planning for the airline. "Branson is a popular family friendly destination, with more than 8 million visitors a year. Our quality low fare nonstop service from Atlanta and Milwaukee offers connecting access to more than 50 destinations, including Puerto Rico and popular vacation areas in Florida."

Each service has one daily flight in each direction.
