airBaltic to begin Riga?Link?ping service

Latvian airline airBaltic will begin operating direct flights between Riga and the Swedish city of Linköping on 30 April.

airBaltic will operate four direct flights a week between the two cities, on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday evenings to Linkoping with the opposite direction being operated on Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Monday mornings. The flights will use a Boeing 737 and will take 1 hour and 10 minutes.

airBaltic notes that the new flights offer excellent transit connections via Riga to and from 50 destinations in Western Europe, CIS countries, and Mediterranean region.
