AirAsia is adding to its East Malaysia connectivity by launching another international route – from Kota Kinabalu to Brunei – on 9 September. The new service will be the airline’s sixth international service from Kota Kinabalu and second international service from Brunei.
Kota Kinabalu is AirAsia’s second and biggest hub after Kuala Lumpur, serving nine domestic routes – Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Sibu, Miri, Labuan, Tawau, Sandakan, while the international sectors are Macau, Shenzhen, Clark, Jakarta, Singapore and now Brunei.
